Dec 19 - Dec 25 Focused Fire

Thank you for your partnership in prayer! Here are this week’s Focused Fire prayer needs.

Our Focused Fire this week is dedicated to our missionaries. Please remember them in prayer as they spend Christmas Day away from their ‘accustomed’ company of family and friends.

Additional Prayer Needs

  • (12-17-21) prayer update from Pastor Jonathan Greene in Bonita, CA, regarding one of his disciples, (Mario) that had a significant court date on 12-15: - “He avoided prison time! Praise God! But now it’s probation or work furlough. If we can keep praying we will know that answer in 2 weeks. Just some finality in all this we are believing for probation.”

  • (12-16-21) prayer update from Missionary MacArthur Jr Smith in Worcester, South Africa, regarding his sister Kim in Las Vegas; she had a major stroke and was going into emergency surgery on 12-14: - “My sister has came out of surgery. She still has swelling on the brain and no mobility on the left side. Help us pray for complete miracle. Thanks.”

  • (12-15-21) prayer update from Pastor Casey Mammen in Peoria, AZ, regarding a new building: - “The best way for everyone to pray is for the owner (his name is Andy) to give us confirmation that he will pay for upgrading the building systems (AC, plumbing, electrical) to the proper level to meet current building codes. If we get approval from him, we can restart the whole planning process with the city and move everything forward. If not, we need God to open another door for us for a building... we are believing God!”

  • (12-13-21) prayer requests from Missionary Nathan Oropeza in Phnom Penh, Cambodia: - “1) Please pray for Phynon, Nida, and their little boy Oudom. They got saved last week and are already bringing and inviting more people to church. Please pray that Phynon’s work schedule to change so that he could come to Bible study; he wants to be more involved. 2) Pray for my interpreter Kim as he learns to follow Christ. 3) Peter who wants to come to church but has work schedule issues. 4) Ms. Ean and her family; her husband recently died and she has been sick and missed church last week-pray for comfort, healing, and direction. 5) Please also pray that I have God’s wisdom and strategy to shepherd these precious people He has given us. Thank you so much,”

  • (12-10-21) prayer update from Pastor Warren Koot in Robertson, South Africa, regarding an eye injury of his disciple, Joseph: - “He’s going for a check up today. Let’s keep on contending for the miracle of sight. This situation has brought the fire of God upon his life that wasn’t there before the injury. Jesus is all he talks about. Thank you for helping us pray. What a blessing everyone has been in this time. God bless”
